How much do you know about African animals? Do you already have a favorite African animal? Choose an African animal and surf the Web to answer questions about your animal. You can use the African Animal Surfari e-Sheet to record what you learn.

African Wildlife Foundation Wildlife Gallery has pictures of many African animals. Click a picture to see basic information about the animal. You can learn how big the animal is, where and how long the animal lives, and what the animal eats.
Kids' Planet eSpecies Fact Sheets give you the basic information about many animals. The fact sheets describe what the animal looks like, where it lives, what it eats, and how it behaves. You can also learn whether the species is endangered.
Take a Virtual Field Trip to Tanzania was created by a teacher to document her travel in Africa. The site includes a travel diary with many pictures of animals, as well as people and places. You can also read animal poems and watch short movies.
