Most of the features of CurriculumWiki are hidden from anonymous users. Although you may read pages without creating an account, you will not be able to contribute to CurriculumWiki until you register and confirm your email address. This precaution helps reduce the likelihood of vandalism or other content that may not be appropriate for students. After you create an account, you can take a tour of CurriculumWiki to learn more about the features that are available to you as a registered user.

Hint: You can open a new web browser window to create your account and leave this window opened to this Help page. In Internet Explorer, you can open a new window by pressing and holding ctrl and then pressing the n key. In Safari, you can open a new window by pressing command-n or a new tab by pressing command-t.

Click on the "log in/create account" at the top right of the page.

Click on the "create an account" link.

Enter the requested information and click on the "create account" button.

Enter the username and password you want to have on CurriculumWiki. Both usernames and passwords are case sensitive in CurriculumWiki! You are encouraged to use your real name in your username to help create a culture of professionalism among CurriculumWiki contributors. You do not have to enter an email address or your real name to register. However, you will not be able to contribute to CurriculumWiki until you enter an email address.

Confirm your email address.

If you correctly entered a valid email address, you will receive a message containing a hyperlink from CurriculumWiki. Click on the link to confirm your email address. You are now ready to enter your password. Already forgotten it? Click on the "Email Password" button to have it emailed to you.

Return to the Home Page.

Congratulations! You have successfully created an account and logged into CurriculumWiki. Click the link to go to the Home Page and explore the CurriculumWiki.
